Raleigh Asian Festival

今年久違的Asian Fest of 2026, 終於今天9/19登埸。北卡台灣同鄉會也準備二個攤位和一些美味的台灣小吃。滷肉飯有香軟的細塊三層肉，配上滷蛋和香菜，非常入味。刮包也是可口入胃，內有一大塊瘦中帶肥的三層肉，榨菜，花生粉，香菜。蛋塔和鳳梨酥也十分受歡迎！

我們也擺設 ”UN for Taiwan” 的宣傳活動，有文獻小冊子和 QR code 介紹內容和相關影片。二位年輕女孩身著原住名服裝，現場不畏炎熱，用中英文向觀眾解說，十分令人欽佩！

今天活動，很多鄉親都志願幫忙，非常熱心, 令人感動，可圈可點，又一次表現台灣人的智慧，團結，和毅力！

The long-awaited Asian Fest of 2026 finally kicked off today, September 19th. The Taiwanese Association of North Carolina hosted two booths featuring delicious Taiwanese snacks. The braised pork rice—featuring tender, finely diced pork belly, a braised egg, and cilantro—was incredibly flavorful. The *gua bao* (steamed pork belly buns) were equally appetizing, filled with a generous slice of pork belly (a perfect balance of lean and fatty meat), pickled mustard greens, crushed peanuts, and cilantro. The egg tarts and pineapple cakes were also huge hits!

We also ran a promotional campaign advocating for "UN for Taiwan," providing informational brochures, QR codes, and related videos. Two young women, dressed in traditional Indigenous attire, braved the heat to explain the cause to attendees in both Chinese and English—a truly admirable effort!

Many community members volunteered their time and enthusiasm for today's event; their dedication was deeply moving and praiseworthy, once again showcasing the wisdom, unity, and perseverance of the Taiwanese people!
