《強烈譴責中國施壓第三國打壓台灣，呼籲美國以具體行動支持台灣》
中國當局迫使塞席爾、模里西斯、馬達加斯加等國臨時取消賴清德總統專機飛航許可，導致出訪史瓦帝尼行程被迫暫緩，全美台灣同鄉會表達最嚴正抗議與譴責。
我們肯定與支持賴清德總統帶領台灣人民展現堅定韌性，無懼威權壓迫，持續爭取台灣在國際社會應有的地位與尊嚴。中國用經濟與政治手段，壓縮台灣的國際空間，更挑戰國際規範與以規則為基礎的國際秩序。
我們呼籲美國川普政府，應以更明確且具體的行動回應中國的脅迫行為，包括：

正式邀請賴清德總統訪問美國，展現對台灣民主的明確支持

檢討並調整對台交往限制，避免因外部壓力自我設限

將中國對台與第三國的脅迫行為納入國安與印太戰略核心，並聯合盟友建立反制機制
全美台灣同鄉會重申，台灣是全球民主陣營不可或缺的一環。台灣的安全與尊嚴，與美國的安全與信譽緊密相連。全美會呼籲華府以具體行動回應威權脅迫，確保台灣能在不受干預的情況下參與國際社會。同時也敬請台灣國人團結一致，共抵外侮，勿陷中國圈套!
Statement by the Taiwanese Association of America
Strongly Condemning China’s Coercion of Third Countries Against Taiwan and Calling for Concrete U.S. Action
The Taiwanese Association of America strongly condemns the Chinese government’s reported pressure on Seychelles, Mauritius, and Madagascar to abruptly revoke overflight permissions for the aircraft of President Lai Ching-te, resulting in the postponement of his planned visit to Eswatini.
We express our strongest protest against this coercive behavior. We commend President Lai Ching-te for demonstrating resilience and leadership in the face of authoritarian pressure, and for continuing to advance Taiwan’s rightful place and dignity in the international community. China’s use of economic and political leverage to constrain Taiwan’s international space not only targets Taiwan—it undermines established international norms and the rules-based international order.
In response, ｗe call on the United States government to take clear and concrete actions to counter such coercion, including:

Extending a formal invitation to President Lai Ching-te to visit the United States, demonstrating unequivocal support for Taiwan’s democracy

Reviewing and adjusting self-imposed restrictions on U.S.-Taiwan engagement, ensuring that American policy is not constrained by external pressure

Recognizing China’s coercive actions against Taiwan and third countries as a core national security concern within U.S. Indo-Pacific strategy, and working with allies to develop coordinated countermeasures
The Taiwanese Association of America reaffirms that Taiwan is an indispensable member of the global democratic community. Taiwan’s security and dignity are closely linked to the credibility and interests of the United States.
We urge Washington to respond to authoritarian coercion with concrete actions, ensuring that Taiwan can participate in the international community free from interference. At the same time, we call on the people of Taiwan to remain united, to stand firm against external pressure, and to remain vigilant against attempts to divide or weaken Taiwan from within.
